Summer 2017. アホガール | "Aho", this word really suits Yoshiko Hanabatake whose stupidity rendered you speechless. She doesn't even think she is aho and believe that she is beautiful and awesome. This senseless protagonist is so absurd, obsessed with bananas, and no sensitivity. Gladly she is surrounded by "normal" friends in the school to limit her from doing even more idiot actions. Is it really worth your time to watch? |
Slice-of-life and school life anime surely need comedy to live up the relationship amongst characters. Aho Girl provides jokes which aren't funny for some. Can you imagine how foolish it is to make fun of someone who is freaking idiot already. I mean, how clueless you are if you do so. It might be a laughing stock for some, but not me. I laughed for a few jokes in the 1st episode, continuing watched it gave me a headache eventhough I managed to the end of the show. How can all of the episodes just contain somewhat bullying? Is it really funny to make fun of someone stupid? C'mon. The plot isn't developing at all, pure (useless) comedy. I began to remember a show before which does something like this that might think it's funny but it's not {KonoSuba}, especially for me. And even if some parts are funny, it's predictable, you can grab the pattern of its bullying material or scenes. So, what's the point of jokes if it's seen through, uh?
The visualization is standard. It's a low-budget one. We can't expect for more. It goes the same for the soundtracks; OP "Zenryoku☆Summer!" by angela & ED "Odore! Kyu-kyoku Tetsugaku" by Sumire Uesaka. There's nothing special in soundtrack aspect too.
RATE: 2
Cons:
- Stupid anime & low standard. I'm not buying that cheap material, so sorry
- Meaningless plot
- The jokes are predictable and boring
